A new name for an old way of cleaning
Removing Household odors
Bring a cup of water and ¼ c white vinegar to boil.
Let simmer 30 min to 1 hour to remover odors.
Add a few drops of essential oils to fragrance.
Natural Laundry Soap
Simmer 1 C soap nuts in 4 C water for 10 minutes.
Allow liquid to cool. Mash soap nuts by hand, then drain through cheese cloth.
Add a few drops of essential oil.
"Tea" can also be used as hand soap, and natural Household cleaner.
Store in refrigerator if you keep longer than 3 weeks.
Drain Opener / Garbage Disposal Cleaner
For slow drains, use this cleaner once a week to keep drains fresh & clog free.
½ to 1 Cup baking soda
1 Cup white vinegar
1 Gallon Boiling water
½ used lemon
Pour Baking soda down drain, followed by vinegar. Allow mixture to foam before flushing with water boiled with lemon.
Mildew Remover
Dissolve ½ C vinegar with ½ C borax in warm water.
All Purpose Cleaner
1 C Hot Water
1 tsp washing soda
1 tsp Borax
½ C White vinegar
Fill spray bottle with water. Add all ingredients together and add 1 Tbsp of Bronner Sal Suds. Shake well. You can also add 10 drops Peppermint essential oil, and 10 drops eucalyptus oil.
The Best Window Cleaner
¼ C White Vinegar
½ tsp Liquid soap
2 C water.
Combine in spray bottle. Shake well.
